Every tier is currently paid the same rate — 50 % of NGR. The "ladder rate" column is the rate schedule the Platform has published for the future; it is not in effect and no alliance is paid by it today. If and when the Platform brings the ladder rates into effect, that is a change to this schedule and is announced under the Alliance Agreement's amendment procedure (notice period, effective date, right to reject).
How tiers move. Every alliance starts at T1. The Platform reviews qualification weekly against the thresholds above; an alliance that reaches a higher tier's threshold is promoted, effective from the start of a following weekly accounting period, and its owner is notified. Tiers are never lowered by that review — an Assigned Tier is reduced only with the owner's agreement, as a sanction for breach, or to correct an assignment made in error, in each case with notice stating the reason. Each weekly accounting period is priced at the tier the alliance held at the start of that week; a promotion never re-prices a closed week.
Alliance Tier Schedule
This schedule is published by the Platform under the Alliance Agreement (section 2, "Alliance Tiers") and forms part of it. It sets out the alliance tiers, how an alliance qualifies for each tier, and the revenue-share rate that is actually paid for each tier.
The table and figures shown above this text are read live from the Platform's configuration each time the page is opened. They are the schedule in force at that moment; the date and time of the reading is printed with them.
How to read the schedule
- Assigned Tier. Each alliance holds one tier at a time. A new alliance starts at the lowest tier. The tier an alliance holds, and the date from which it holds it, are shown to the alliance owner in the alliance admin panel.
- Qualification. The Platform reviews every alliance at regular intervals — currently weekly — against the qualification metric and thresholds shown above. An alliance whose metric reaches a higher tier's threshold is promoted to that tier from the start of a following weekly accounting period, and the owner is notified.
- No demotion by review. The periodic review never lowers an Assigned Tier, including where the metric later falls below the tier's threshold. An Assigned Tier can be reduced only with the owner's agreement, as a sanction for breach under the Alliance Agreement, or to correct an assignment made in error, in each case with notice stating the reason.
- Discretionary assignment. The Platform may assign a higher tier than an alliance would qualify for. It may withdraw such an assignment on notice, in which case the alliance returns to the tier for which it qualifies.
- What is paid. The revenue-share rate that applies to a weekly accounting period is the paid rate shown above for the tier the alliance held at the start of that period. Where the schedule above shows a separate "ladder rate — not yet in effect", that rate is published for information only and is not paid until the Platform brings it into effect.
- Other indicators. The admin panel may show other performance indicators beside the Assigned Tier for information. They do not change the tier or the rate.
Changes to this schedule
The tiers, thresholds and rates may be changed by the Platform. A change that only benefits alliances (a higher paid rate, a lower threshold, a promotion) may take effect immediately. Any other change is made under the amendment procedure in the Alliance Agreement — with notice before an effective date and the right to decline — and applies only to weekly accounting periods beginning on or after its effective date. Closed periods are never re-priced.
